For the upcoming concert\, this trio\, which features Lamar Gaines on piano and Todd Chuba on percussion\, will perform some songs from the show (James Taylor\, Joni Mitchell\, Neil Young\, and Carole King) as well as some original selections\, which are heavily influenced by the artists from Laurel Canyon.  \nIn 2013\, Chartrand developed the stage show Live from Laurel Canyon \, which performs the songs and tells the tales of the artists who lived in Laurel Canyon (Los Angeles) between 1965 and 1975. For the past several years\, Live from Laurel Canyon has been touring the country sharing these great songs and the often-unbelievable personal stories of these legendary artists.   \nMusic lovers and performing artists alike are ready to get back to live music experiences. With safety precautions in place\, our popular Live & Local concert series moves outdoors for On the Lawn! Events will feature homegrown Arizona talent\, food truck and bar options\, plus several new processes to keep everyone safe\, including distanced pod seating for purchase.   \nThis event now offers pod seating. Pod seating enables patrons to purchase as a group while maintaining our social–distancing protocols at the event. One pod accommodates up to four (4) people. Gates open 30 minutes before the performance start time.    \nNo outside food and drink (except for water) or furry friends allowed at Live & Local performances. Blankets or low–seated lawn chairs are recommended. This is a no smoking event. Face masks are required\, and wristbands (received at check-in) are required for entry.   \nLearn more about our safety protocols.  \nSponsors URL:https://scottsdaleperformingarts.org/event/brian-chartrand-trio/ LOCATION:Scottsdale Civic Center\, 3939 N.
