Rare is the boundary that hasn’t been stretched in search of originality that can only come from mixing various styles. \nPuro de Oliva (Extra-Virgin Olive Oil) is a fortuitous fusion that developed into an international concert tour and album after Spanish Brass invited Chano Domínguez to collaborate in 2015. The musical collaboration between this quintet and the pianist from Cádiz\, who\, in the words of Paquito d’Rivera\, stands alongside the late Tete Montoliu as the greatest Spanish jazz pianist\, is a delight and an honor for both parties. \nSpanish Brass is one of the world’s most dynamic and admired brass groups. In 2017\, they received the I Bankia Music Talent Award in Spain for Most Influential Musical Artists. They have performed at prestigious venues and festivals around the globe and have recorded 21 CDs. This is the first time that Spanish Brass has entered the world of flamenco-jazz. They have done so with the same mastery that they have brought throughout their long history and extensive recording production. \nChano Domínguez is one of the most celebrated jazz pianists and composers of our time. During a four-decade career\, he has dazzled audiences of all kinds\, including other musicians\, spanning the worlds of jazz and flamenco equally. He has collaborated with esteemed colleagues such as Paco de Lucía\, Wynton Marsalis\, Paquito d’Rivera\, Jack DeJohnette\, Gonzalo Rubalcaba\, Michel Camilo\, Enrique Morente\, Jorge Pardo\, and Martirio\, among others. In 2016\, he was nominated for his fourth Grammy®️\, this one a Latin Grammy®️ for his latest release\,Bendito\, featuring Domínguez as producer\, composer\, and pianist. \n\nProgram details: \nPuro de Oliva\nLa Boda de Luis Alonso —Gerónimo Giménez (arr.
