DESCRIPTION:About the Event\nSmall Island Big Song invites audiences to explore the little-known cultural connections that tie a population of 400 million people living on islands in the Indian and Pacific oceans through a sensory journey guided by some of the region’s best musicians.   \nIn this hour-long musical performance\, students will experience island traditions through song and dance. Weaving their performances with multimedia and other tools\, Small Island Big Song artists will explain the geography\, ecology\, and cultures of their oceans through music.
