The Lucky Band is on the pulse of all things “kids’ music” and brings smart\, crafty lyrics together with irresistibly fresh pop beats. The songs on the band’s five acclaimed recordings offer a musical and topical range aimed at exploring all the wonder and joy of a young person’s life.  \nSunday A’Fair showcases Arizona-based musical acts\, ranging from blues\, country\, and jazz to R&B\, rock\, pop\, and more. The concerts take place in Scottsdale Civic Center Park on selected Sunday afternoons from January 12 through March 29. For this special Family A’Fair\, there will also be artist-led activities for children and families. \n\nFeatured Bands:\nMariachi Juvenil de Mi Tierra\nnoon\nFountain Stage \nMariachi Juvenil de mi Tierra was formed in 2011 in Scottsdale\, Arizona. While the group itself is in its infancy\, the members of the group have performed with a variety of well-established mariachis throughout the greater Phoenix area.  The heart of Mariachi Juvenil de mi Tierra is the love and respect for mariachi music. Having performed at various private and corporate functions\, Mariachi Juvenil de mi Tierra is proud to share the beauty and emotion of mariachi music.  Members of Mariachi Juvenil de mi Tierra are between the ages of 8 and 17 years old. Their success is a result of the quality of their music\, their professional attitude toward it\, and their dedication and interpretation of mariachi music.  \nThe Lucky Band\n2–4 p.m\nFountain Stage \nLatin Grammy® award winner The Lucky Band—Lucky Diaz and Alisha Gaddis—is the face of kids’ indie music\, rooted in their whimsical child-friendly imaginations.  \nThe songs on their five records explore all the wonder and joy of a young person’s life. After they teamed up with artist Micah Player\, their 2011 video “Blue Bear” became a hit sensation. The song appeared on their first album\, Luckiest Adventure\, and enjoyed the top spot on SiriusXM Satellite Radio for several weeks in 2011. In 2012\, the band released A Potluck\, and their new songs enjoyed heavy radio rotation nationwide.   \n\nGuests are invited to bring a blanket to sit on the lawn or low-sitting lawn chairs to enjoy great food\, friends\, and free live performances. Delicious food from the grill\, gourmet desserts\, cocktails\, beer\, wine\, and soft drinks are also available for purchase. Additionally\, patrons can bring their own picnic baskets and pets to the park.  \nSchedule is subject to change.
