Although all 12 tracks are in Spanish\, as the title suggests\, the collection represents a diversity of musical styles and cultural traditions\, from tender boleros to brassy mariachi to reimagined Afro-Cuban classics\, including five originals written or co-written by singer-guitarist Raul Malo. En Español flips the band’s usual fusion formula\, adding a striking assortment of genres—salsa\, ska\, norteño\, mariachi\, and much more—to its sturdy country/rock/Tex-Mex base and streaking the solidly Latin foundation with irreverent rock and twangy guitars.  \n“Since their emergence in the 1990s\, they’ve remained one of the most critically acclaimed groups in roots music.” — NPR  \n“From the moment the band took the stage\, frontman Raul Malo had the crowd dancing in the aisles\, particularly with faves like ‘What You Do to Me’ and ‘Easy As It Seems.’” — MassLive  \n“Malo is one of contemporary music’s finest and most gifted singers.” — Creative Loafing Tampa Bay  \n  \n\n\nScottsdale Civic Center East Bowl  \nHelpful Venue Policy Information:  \nSeating  \nGates open 90 minutes prior to show time\, and East Bowl seating is first-come-first-served lawn seating only.
