DESCRIPTION:About the Event\n5:30 p.m. – Youth Celebration  \n8:00 p.m. – Adult Celebration  \nThe ariZoni Theatre Awards promote the visibility\, cooperation\, and growth of theaters in the Valley and are dedicated to recognizing excellence in theatrical performances\, as well as individuals who produce exceptional work in all aspects of theatre.  \nEach year at its annual awards ceremony\, the ariZoni Theatre Awards Board bestows an outstanding contribution award and a distinguished service award to deserving individuals or organizations for their contributions to theatre. In addition\, the ariZoni Scholarship Committee will award one or more scholarships to selected\, qualified students.  \nAfter completion of an exhaustive judging process (involving close to 100 adjudicators)\, awards of excellence are presented to those individuals who have excelled in performance and production during the just-completed season. Awards are presented in the categories of acting\, directing\, musical direction\, writing\, choreography\, scenic design\, costume design\, hair and makeup\, lighting design\, and sound design. These awards represent true celebrations of excellence in theatre.
