About the Event
Join us to celebrate the opening of the exhibition Hold on to Hope, which highlights Holocaust survivor Oskar Knoblauch’s experience in World War II and celebrates the positive influence he has made in the lives of countless Arizona school children. Knoblauch will be present at the reception.
“Hold on to hope” were the words of wisdom that guided local Holocaust survivor Oskar Knoblauch to survive the trials of World War II in Nazi-occupied Poland. This exhibition, Hold on to Hope, shines light on the concept of living life, not as a bystander but an “upstander.” Oskar’s legacy continues to change the lives of several thousand Arizona children, helping them build empathy and respect for others.
Hold on to Hope will run from Oct. 21, 2022, through Jan. 22, 2023.
