Scottsdale Philharmonic

The Scottsdale Philharmonic performs a program that includes Gounod's "Juliet’s Waltz Song," Liszt’s Rákóczi March, Mendelssohn's Wedding March from A Midsummer Night's Dream, Rimsky-Korsakov's "Procession of Nobles #5" from Mlada, Ted Ricketts's Satchmo! (A Tribute to Louis Armstrong), and Arinsky’s Symphony no. 1 in B Minor.

About the Event

The Scottsdale Philharmonic performs classical music concerts to the public and makes classical music available to audiences of all ages. The Scottsdale Philharmonic provides the city of Scottsdale and surrounding communities with a professional symphony orchestra, performing a series of traditional classical music concerts for audiences of all ages.

Gounod: “Ah Je veux vivre” (“Juliet’s Waltz”) from Romeo and Juliet 
Liszt: Hungarian Rhapsody no. 15 (Rákóczi March)
Mendelssohn: “Wedding March” from A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Rimsky-Korsakov: “Procession of Nobles #5” from Mlada Suite
Ted Ricketts (Arranger): Satchmo! (A Tribute to Louis Armstrong)

Arensky: Symphony no. 1 in B Minor
I. Adagio – Allegro patetico
II. Andante – Pastorale con moto
III. Scherzo – Allegro con spirito
